Third Line Project
This project involves the construction of four railway tunnels with a total length of about 1.6 kilometres for the third railway line between km 831.8 and km 841.9 in the Dharakoh–Maramjhiri section. The work includes ballastless track construction, earthwork, construction of important, major, and minor bridges, supply of stone ballast, track linking, side drains, retaining walls, and other related civil works.
The project will increase railway line capacity, allow smoother train movement, and improve overall operational efficiency. It will help handle higher rail traffic safely and efficiently, strengthen railway infrastructure, and support faster and more reliable transportation in the region.
